Recipe Sunday


Here at the office, we make taco meat once a week (plenty for leftovers). It is easy and very versatile; we can add whatever veggies we have around (cabbage, carrots, peppers, peas, tomatoes -- canned or fresh, etc). A can of V-8 adds a quick dose of more goodness. You can use different flavoring if not in the mood for mexican (curry powder or sauce, turmeric, or various Asian sauces). While you can be as complicated as you'd like with the spices, using a packet of taco seasoning makes the recipe really quick and easy!

Also can make into chili quite easily. We serve as tacos, or burritos, or with rice or potatoes, etc. (But never, ever Cincinnati style!)

The variations are immense, and the flexibility makes it a quick go-to recipe!
